Why do I Need a Pet?

Reasons why you should get a pet.

  • Assist in Attack – You can summon your pet and have it attack enemies for you.
  • Fusion – Fusion will reduce the damage you take and increase your resistances.
  • Esperate – Esperate will improve the benefits you earn from the Esper you are wearing.
  • Buffs – Some pets have buff skills that can be use to buff yourself.
  • Debuffs – Some pets even have debuff skills that can be use on your enemies.
  • Materials Gathering – Pets can gather materials used for crafting pet gear.

How to Obtain a Pet

Common ways to find your first companion.

  • Free Pets – Woody Pigs can be found inside Beginner and Induction boxes.
  • Companion for Life – A quest from Pet Tamer Lonno rewards a random starter pet (Dryadling or Woody Pig).
  • Free Lunch – A quest from Pet Tamer Totto rewards a random starter pet (Plump Toad or Wild Wolf). Please take note that these 2 pets are non gradeable.
  • Pet Master Ellan – You can purchase four specific pets from Pet Master Ellan: Dryadling, Sproutax, Woody Pig, and Rubi Boar.
  • Wild Capture – Special species can be captured directly in the wild.
  • Jaden Shop – Premium species are available for purchase in the Jaden Shop and Bonus Market.
  • Jaden Mart – Rare pets are occasionally available through auctions in the Jaden Mart.
  • Promo Codes – Exclusive pets are often distributed via Promo Codes.
  • Events – Limited-edition pets are sometimes offered as rewards during special server events.

9 Ranks (I-IX) with 99 levels each. Rank I Lvl 99 → Rank II Lvl 1.

06. Myna

Affinity items providing temporary Attack or Defense bonuses. Scales with Affinity level and Pet Grade.

Exchange Rough Myna Orbs for Myna. Costs Red Mushrooms based on orb quality.

07. Trait

Trait stats can be trained ~1300 points above max growth.

Example: Arborik 7130 Weaken Res + Weaken Trait → 8340.

Release pets to get Jades matching their Trait. Use Body Strengthen Potion to reroll Traits (50 Sunny Jade).

08. Pet Age

If Age reaches max, the pet dies. Buy Age-reducing or Life-increasing items at the Pet Master Shop.

09. Pet Growth and Grade

Higher Growth = Higher Grade. Grade allows appearance Evolution. Use Pet Jade or Celebeans to train. Failures yield minimal points; success chances drop at high growth.

Reaching Grade 12 and Grade 18 are the most critical milestones. These grades unlock the ability to use Evolution Mushrooms to transform your pet's physical form.

10. Pet Jade

Ranks

  • Minor: +20 (Up to Grade 11)
  • Normal: +40 (Up to Grade 17)
  • Improved: +100 (Any Grade)

11. Skill Jades

Replace/Upgrade skills with Skill Jades. Advanced Jades cost History of Domestication (Item Exchange).

12. Pet Soul, Evolution and Mutation

Pet Souls are purchased from the Marketplace, and will change your pet's appearance to look like a different pet.

Evolution

Once your pet has reached the appropriate grades, use Blue Mushrooms (Evolution at Grade 12) or Colorful Mushrooms (Evolution at Grade 18) to change your pet's appearance.

Mutation

Use Gem Mushrooms at Grade 12 or Grade 18 to trigger mutations for alternate skins.

You can also use Red Mushrooms to revert the effects of the other mushrooms. Buy these from the Pet Master's Pet Shop and Item Exchange.

13. Aptitudes

Depending on their type, pets are proficient in different aptitudes. A random value will be assigned to the respective aptitude and these change when using a Menggu Relic.

Pet Gear

Consisting of the Pet Workshop and Gear Fortification.

Pet Workshop

The Workshop uses items gathered by pets while foraging to craft Pet Gear and remedies, including Mirage Candy that grants EXP to your pets. It is the only way to craft the best gear, requiring high Tech Stats and Development.

Craft Levels

  • Level 1: Basic Pet Gear.
  • Level 2: +1 and +2 Pet Gear.
  • Tech Stats: Automatically added by Level 60+ pets (marked with *).

Obtain specific recipes through Foraging types:

Farming: Claw + Relic
Woodwork: Armor + Vest
Hunting: Aura + Dream
Fishing: Gem + Legacy
Mining: Mask + Pendant
Treasure: Sutra + Mystery

Mirage Candy (EXP) Milestones

Lv30: Candy I (20k)
Lv70: Candy II (30k)
Lv100: Candy III (40k)
Lv115: Candy IV (60k)
Lv130: Candy V (90k)
Lv140: Candy VI (130k)

Fortify Pet Gear

Upgrade your gear at a Pet Master using the "Fortify Gear" option. Gear will not be destroyed if it fails.
